Nestled in the sprawling hills of Warrandyte, Victoria, Pietro Gallus Estate brings the Italian countryside to Victoria through estate-grown produce, artisanal Grappa and liqueurs, and authentic Italian food and wine. This image was one of a series of images commissioned from Atticus Webb by the Amber Property Group for the Geoff Brady Collection of unique Victorian landscapes in 2020. The collection was compiled to mark the opening of the Sebel Hotel in Ringwood in March 2021. The images feature throughout the hotel.

Trulli, limestone dwellings found in the southern region of Puglia, are remarkable examples of drywall (mortarless) construction, a prehistoric building technique still in use in this region. The trulli are made of roughly worked limestone boulders collected from neighbouring fields. Characteristically, they feature pyramidal, domed or conical roofs built up of corbelled limestone slabs.

Rennaz is a municipality of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland at the eastern end of Lake Geneva.  Swiss wine is very highly regarded in Europe, but very little is exported.  It is generally expensive and produced from small holdings.

The area around Gruyeres, in South-West Switzerland, is celebrated not simply for its cheese, but because it is a wonderland of traditional Swiss farms.  This house is in the village of Les Moulins, south of Gruyere.

The area around Gruyeres, in South-West Switzerland is celebrated not simply for its cheese, but because it is a wonderland of traditional Swiss farms.  This house is the village of Rossinieres, south of Gruyeres.  Atticus Webb was struck by the patination of the timber which becomes dark in areas exposed to the weather but it bright in areas under cover.
