PIETRAPERZIA

SICILY

IMAGE NUMBER 964

Pietraperzia is a town of 8000 inhabitants in central Sicily. Atticus came upon it while searching for romantic Sicily. In Pietraperzia he found a town without any modern shops or other new buildings. Very few people were to be seen - and no tourists. PIetraperzia, rather than its nearby neighbour Corleone, could have been a great film set for the Godfather.
