Fiordo di Furore is a tiny fishing hamlet just south of Amalfi on the Amalfi Coast. It forms the wildly romantic setting of many Italian films. Roberto Rossellini, for example, shot two films here starring Anna Magnani, one of them the classic „Amore“.

The image was taken with a tripod-mounted Phase One 645 Camera at ISO 35. Exposure of 2/5th second and aperture F12. 80 mm Schneider Kreuznach lens with leaf shutter. The image was captured on a Phase One IQ180 80 megapixel digital back.
